TPeRX® - thermoplastic elastomers

rubbertechnology - tperx-profiles

TPE stands for "thermoplastic elastomer". This product family consists out of different formulations who are elastic but with temperature increase become fluid and thus processable like thermoplastic. They comprise the easy processability of thermoplastics with essential properties of rubber.

TPeRX® program

The TPeRX product line is differentiated in 3 segments:

  1. most used compounds are SBS en SEBS
  2. TPV's relatively new and based on a physical blend of thermo set EPDM rubber with Polypropylene. This for more demanding applications, also compliance with FDA. Temperature -50ºC to 130ºC.
  3. TPeRX 914 a
