ERIKS Compounds
Rubber materials or elastomers used in sealing applications are often described as compounds; meaning that they are a mixture of ingredients manufactured under specific conditions.
A compound typically comprises a polymer, cross-link system, fillers and other ingredients used to achieve specific manufacturing-, application- or cost requirements.
Different circumstances demand various compound properties. That is why so many compounds have already been developed. We have categorised our compounds in standard- (general purpose), specialist-(industry or application specific) and high performance grades.
